The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) was established to promote and advance the science and profession of engineering in each of its disciplines. It also paves ways for discussions and ideas related to engineering. Here at The IEM Student Section, Curtin University Malaysia, we provide guides after graduation for our members or for anyone related to the engineering field. We would be inviting young working engineers and experienced professional engineers to expose students to the rules & regulations set by the Board of Engineers, Malaysia, as well as preparation needed in order to become a professional engineer one day. Furthermore, the student section would also be a platform for students to connect to Engineers should they require any professional engineers advise. As part of the IEM student section, one of our objectives is to create awareness to all the future engineers, therefore, we would occasionally conduct outreach programs in school to give them an insight to engineering, science and career.
