As the youngest members of Lions Clubs International, Leos embody the best qualities of our incredible organization. They are devoted young people who realize the power of action. Together, Leos and Lions form a powerful partnership—one of mutual respect, where Lions learn from the innovative insights of Leos, and where Leos gain access to the proven strategies of those who’ve successfully served the world for decades. Leo Clubs are a youth organization of Lions Clubs International. The word "Leo" stands for Leadership, Experience, Opportunity. Our Curtin Leo clubs encourage youths to develop leadership qualities by participating in social service activities. We are dependent on a Lions club to sponsor and initiate a Leo club. Leo Club members are addressed as "Leos." We conduct various projects in the fields of health care, elders, children, differently abled, literacy and education, and self-development. Leos can raise funds by conducting fund-raising projects. We can conduct projects with another Leo club, sponsoring Lions club, or with an outside organization. Leo clubs are sponsored by Lions clubs and comprise an official program of Lions Clubs International.
